Anyone watching the president Obama town hall? Obama's answer to the "why don't you say radical Islam" question was awesome.

Yeah, he destroyed the question some months ago, but the mother of a soldier asked the question and he answered. It's still a right-wing talking point.

I believe that Hillary Clinton will win the election in November. Then, sometime between November and January, Hillary will be indicted. The IRS is now investigating the Clinton Foundation and the whole e-mail thing isn’t over yet. Once under indictment she won’t be able to assume the Office of the President in January. Tim Kaine, who will not actually be the Vice President because neither he nor Hillary have been inaugurated, cannot assume the Presidency. The Speaker of the House can’t move up to it because there is already a sitting President and Vice President. So President Obama, in an Executive Order citing an emergency situation, gives himself another four years in office. I believe Obama has been planning this for a while now, knowing he had enough on Hillary to indict her. Had the Attorney General indicted her based on evidence from the FBI this plan wouldn’t have worked because the DNC would have quickly come up with another candidate. If you think about it, it’s not that outrageous. Many people on the left, including the President, want Obama to stay another four years. The law prohibits him from being re-elected so the only ways he can do it is by declaring martial law and suspending the election (which would be a very negative thing for the country) or to declare himself still President because the elected candidate cannot assume her duties. The latter makes more sense and is actually more feasible. And since it’s never been done before, it would set a precedent that would be difficult to challenge. Now that being said, what if it happens? Care for a friendly wager? How about a 1fg donation if I'm right :D

contrary to popular conservative belief you will not lose your soul and get anal warts if you occasionally agree with people from the other party

It was a terrific answer (I saw a clip later). That's how everyone should be treating this stupid non-issue of GOP wordplay re: ISIS. It's not a Donald Trump issue because he's not actually the one who started it so he shouldn't bare the brunt of all the blame, it's a Republican party issue. They've been trying to make it an issue for 2 years because they aren't serious about putting a competing proposal on the table for how to confront ISIS, and they refuse to acknowledge Obama's airstrikes and other measures.

I'm amazed at how HfA was able to get Trump to waste 5+ days doubling down on a 20-year old racist attack on a now-citizen, simply because they did their homework and prepped Clinton sufficiently so that she could bring it up during a debate. Not only do they have Trump and his thrice-married surrogates, adulterers all, out there trying to justify his insult, his entire campaign is also inexplicably saying he deserves credit for "not mentioning Bill Clinton's infidelities" when he... mentioned how he was not going to mention Bill Clinton's infidelities. What an odd way to spend the week after the first debate.

It makes me wonder how much closer the race would be if Trump had been disciplined post-convention.
