this mentality seems to be everywhere - ironically said friend i talked to initially played a big role in getting me onto healthier foods but now he's got depression and started eating junk and can't seem to bring himself out of it
My experience is the opposite. I have some male friends who obsess over their weight so much you would think they're women.
I weigh myself every day and if I get up to a certain number I stop buying 2 liters of coke for awhile.
But the key is slow positive changes over time.
