Trump lying about murder rates to make people afraid and accept more stringent policing policies that he has been pushing since campaign start = he's an idiot

A good rule of thumb for whether someone is lying with malice aforethought is whether their comments can be held up to initial scrutiny.
If trump says something thats just factually wrong and trivially disproven, its probably just him being a dingus. Such a statistic is plainly available and easy to find
Hillary saying she was dodging sniper fire is a story that would have been plausible if CBS didn't have archived footage of the plane actually landing with a little girl on the tarmac.

If trump is trying to deceive on a national stage to further his agenda, why would he say something patently wrong instead of manipulatively deceptive?

Trump is being controlled less than Bush was

Trump has no control of himself it helps him from being controlled because he will either run to twitter or lash out in some other way

Trump values loyalty when it's to him but make no mistake he would even throw one of his silverspoons overboard if they got too out of line

wow you catch on quickly it's not like his whole campaign wasn't about that in the first place..lmao

I think he has a track record of being hyperbolic, and this one was a legit mistake that was too close to a verifiable un-truth to fit his general track record. but I feel that at times this hyperbole is meant specifically to push his agenda by being ambiguous to not be proven wrong, knowing parts of his base will accept the "there is a problem" message. He is also trying to discredit the media for some to push this type of mistrust so he can be even less verifiably false. but I do indeed feel this is a slip up, what he meant to say I'm sure was something like "Chicago has seen rates _____" or "i was talking to sheriffs and they're seeing crime like they haven't in years". whether this is a trump plan of 4d chess, someone like bannon creating the plan with trump, or someone like bannon doing it almost without trump knowing I cant say. I think them doing it together is most likely by far.

Trump's a strange cat... on one hand he's thin-skinned and impulsive, on the other hand he knows how to appeal to the people who got him elected. His meeting with union leaders where he invited them into the oval office was great PR.

ah yes that didnt go over to well for some:

He's involved in the same way as Shinzo Abe

I didn't know Shinzo Abe hacked US politicians' private correspondence in order to manipulate the outcome of the election, or that every political decision the US president they chose has made directly benefits Japanese hegemony. Things are worse than I thought, two nations are involved!

Well that ain't saying much, was W. Bush the least powerful president in history?

I'm seriously so sick of hearing about Trump already; he's a fringe candidate who stands no chance at getting the nomination. He's this year's Ron Paul (gets tons of attention on the internet but loses by a landslide).

You didn't realize that Shinzo Abe has engaged in underhanded methods to rig systems worldwide in favor of japan at american expense and has made nationalist political decisions to directly benefit japanese homogeneity?
Why, he met with Hillary Clinton in person during her campaigning to play up her experience as a stateswoman

What has he done that comes close to comparing to directly infiltrating the US election and essentially choosing our next president, or that Russia now has immense power over American politics?

Plenty of countries do underhanded things, none except one succeed to this extreme of a level.

We'll see if he finished a 4-year term, if he doesn't then I'll be close enough to correct.

I have no doubt Putin has something on Trump but I doubt it is anything massive that Trump is controllable with. Trump has had everything given to him and was given a license to kill by a small but very loyal base he has no reason to think he can't get away with anything.

I think it's pretty simple, Trump likes Putin because guys like Trump wanna be like Putin. I'm sure he will get butthurt and manbaby attack Putin down the road.

Unless Putin has some prison for the rest of his life kinda info which I doubt.
