I'm not posting this because of the videos headline, but because of the exchange after those comments,

"We've sat at this table with the former administration, this is totally different.

Not once did the POTUS go around the room & ask the sherriffs what issues were important to them in their parts of the country.

We've been here before, but we've never had a president sit down & listen to what it is that we're facing, & that's why we appreciate it."

Trump's a strange cat... on one hand he's thin-skinned and impulsive, on the other hand he knows how to appeal to the people who got him elected. His meeting with union leaders where he invited them into the oval office was great PR.

This is just the new reality. The White House for the next four years is going to spend a shit ton of time and energy trying to defend the false claims of Trump. Watching respected Republicans like Spicer and Conway sacrifice their credibility on the Trump altar is fun to watch though.

I'm disappointed that the bowling green massacre wasn't included. It was woefully under-reported. The victims were forced to walk to the morgue by themselves.

He's either flat wrong or had a brainfart or I'd have to get the quote in some elaborate context to make it seem not wrong, but I don't care enough to investigate.
Trump supporters love to play up the 4d chess narrative and they might even be right about comments like the "reporting on terrorist attacks", since its forcing the media into giving him coverage on terrorism during his immigration EO. But when it comes to something like "murder rates", theres no such argument, he's probably just being a moron
