DC has never not voted (D) in a Presidential election. It’s the opposite of what average Americans are in every other part of the country

standing room seats were going for $1k+ until a few hours before the game. hence the horrible atmosphere (which was not the case in the divisional and league championship series) where the “fans” were more excited to boo President Trump than to cheer on ‘their’ team

Ronald Reagan deregulated energy during his Governorship, and the situation you see today with shareholder-owned corporate utilities like PG&E not maintaining their lines, burning down entire towns, and simply shutting off power to millions when it gets a little windy to maximize their shareholder value is a direct result of the irresponsible conservative policies of California's past. Our public municipal power companies never have these problems.

It's probably more an aspect of how much people who disagree with Trump also dislike him. I honestly don't think a president Rubio or Haley would've received the same reaction. They would've probably been booed as well, just not with the same vigor.

This is what Trump's base likes about him though. They love that he is hated by the people they hate.
