To expand on this, the younger right-wing populist movement is not shy about trashing ever Republican saint in history. Ronald Reagan, H.W. and W. All trash, sucking corporate cock and passing amnesty to enrich their buddies and themselves. And a lot of right wing people like me are getting aggravated because we voted on a hardline immigration reform and the American first agenda. All we got was a tax cut for billionaires and an embassy in Israel. I'm for the Trump platform, but so far all I got was an extremely divisive Jeb Bush.
Democrats aren't about to take it to corporations either, two far left cities just gave 2 bil to the world's richest man. Both parties are owned and suck that corporate dick, but at least the Dems are ashamed occasionally.
Fuck the party. I just want radical immigration reform, higher taxes on multinational corporations, an increased minimum wage, lax gun laws, less military intervention, well funded education that doesn't wast billions on ESL kids. Healthcare reform too, since Barack really fucked up our healthcare system. And journalists get treated like the trash they are.
it were tax cuts which benefitted everyone and stimulated the entire economy. the focus should have been more on the consumer instead of the corporate side, and I personally am not a fan of those tax cuts, but pretending they didnt amount to anything for middle class americans is just silly.
and on top of that, you have to consider the horrible things that Trump has prevented: he pulled out of TPP, put TTIP on the shelf, pulled out of the Paris climate agreement, prevented the U.S. from signing the UN migration pact. And he appointed two conservative judges to the supreme court and countless others to federal positions, is working on the China issue with his tariffs, whipped the NATO allies into putting more effort into their defense, kept the U.S. out of Syria and the Ukraine. and currently, he's drawing a line in the sand with regard to the migrant caravan from central america.
Trump is actually delivering a lot for his base - if you are disappointed because he hasnt pulled off "radical immigration reform", which I assume you mean in the sense of "deporting 10-20 million illegals and ordering a country-wide ban of everything islam/muslim", then you simply had unrealistic expectations.
