Is it wholesome though. Part of me believes or maybe I simply convinced myself that the way people communicate online is exaggeration because of how polarized things are. Like two dogs barking through a fence only to act normal once the fence is removed.
Could have just convinced myself and the truth is the annonimity allows people to convey their true thoughts. I would have historically thought that was valid, but less so now where polarization seems to lead to people getting satisfaction from winding each other up.
I don't think its exaugurated because if you watch Antifa, they straight up tell you that it is okay to punch Nazis, again this isn't just edge lords posting in anonymity. The thing is that label has been essentially broadened to include pretty much everyone that disagrees with them.
You don't believe this man that put on a dress and took some hormone blockers is a real woman? You deserve to be punched. So out of a sample pool of 100k, maybe 10k are willing to insult, 1k are willing to punch or spit and maybe 5 people are so fucking gone that they are willing to go make molotovs or shoot someone with a rifle.
