will be interesting to see if the Dems can hold the district in the by-election. iirc, it was a swing seat which leaned slightly red.
she narrowly won it in a D+8.6 national environment; had run on a moderate platform, followed by joining the congressional progressive caucus as soon as she arrived in D.C.; and she was a mess all around.
if the dems can still hold the district after all of this, I dont see any way for the GOP to win back this type of seat, or the House, anytime soon.

I think it will come down to impeachment. They can't pull a bait and switch on moderate/progressive when impeachment is already ongoing. The candidate will be forced to take a position, unless democrats wrap up before the election. I think either they jeopardize the seat with a progressive and probably lose, or they lose 1 impeachment vote
