I know, scary that humans have emotions, right? ;)

Better off making robots to make logical decisions for us, maybe we wouldn't have people like Trump succeeding as a presidential candidate.

We are perfectly capable of making those ourselves if we just have a little self control and awareness.

Yes, play the self-control card as a solution to humans having pesky emotions. Well I have a news flash for you, emotions are healthy and are just as necessary for making decisions. If it wasn't for emotion, we wouldn't feel guilt for vilifying innocent people and tearing families apart to solve the issue of illegal immigration. Without emotion, we wouldn't be able to make moral decisions.

I think it's more the point that there is legitimate policy (and the decidedly lack of explanation of it) to not like trump for. Taking what was clearly an illegal immigration issue and speaking out against the small percent or subset of them accurately identified as rapists, drug dealers and criminals and then taking this comment and asserting that this is his view of ALL Mexicans is disingenuous at best (and his stump speech wasnt good so I can see how this can be mis-characterization), this same broad brush tactic was applied to Muslims as well.
I loath all the repubs (yes that means trump too) and all the dems, many for the same reasons, and find it frustrating sometimes to have to refute and defend comments on what I see as an inaccurate portrayal of trump and or his statements, it sucks to defend a shitbag, but I care more about accuracy then feelings.

Where do your emotions tie into all the lives and families ruined by the people coming here off the grid? They will never see justice in their lifetime because the crimes were commited by essentially ghosts.

What crimes are you talking about? What people's lives are ruined? Explain to me the hypothetical situation where an illegal immigrant ruins another person's life and gets away with it.

You don't see how his statements make sweeping generalizations of Mexicans and encourage prejudice and hate vs a whole group of people? The problem is, when he makes such sweeping statements that are based off ignorant stereotypes, he causes more damage to our country than he is supposedly fixing by "solving the illegal immigration" issue. And I put that in quotes because I don't think he's going to be able to solve the immigration issue so easily, in any case, even if he did manage to build a wall. A president needs to be able to LEAD, and you don't lead by tearing down half your population (and I'm referring to more than just Mexicans here that he's made disparaging comments about in the past).

somehow doubt that
they are just surprised to see how many republican voters are poorly educated

the question now is, is the percentage of those partaking in republican primaries/caucuses high enough to give him the nomination
should that really happen, i would hope that enough americans have enough reason to prevent him from becoming president

The inevitable petty ineffectual liberal rib-stab.

Trump knows what hes doing here and hes fooling everyone because they are too flustered to want to see it.

One thing will be sure, after this election, there will not be ethics in the White House.

Its not hypothetical... You'd have to be living on the moon to think its hypothetical that this shit happens. Granted the rate at which nothing is capable of being done by police is much lower than rate that they are capable of finding some form of justice, it still happens because they don't have enough information to know who commited a crime.

Would you like to me to post person by person the thousands of lives that were lost to illegal aliens?
