https://www.theglobeandmail.com/world/article-world-court-says-israeli-settlements-in-occupied-palestinian-territory/

Official ruling by the International Court of Justice, officially stating that Israel’s occupation of Palestinian territories and settlements are illegal and should be withdrawn as soon as possible. It's not entirely a binding opinion, but it comes with the obligation to pay restitution for harm and the evacuation of all settlers from existing settlements.

Obviously Israel's authorities were quick to denounce the ruling and fall back on the typical "it's antisemitism" defense. With the ruling also comes an obligation for all states not to recognize the occupation as legal nor aid in maintaining Israel’s presence in the occupied territories. What will the US do next?

So it was an upgraded Samad-3 drone from the houthis that hit Tel Aviv. This thing flew across the world's most important shipping canal and then penetrated one of the most dense AA networks, all while supposedly "undetected". The Israelis are blaming human error, which I hope to be true cause these drones suck.

Anywho, once Donald "Soleimani extinguisher" Trump and JD "bombs over Tehran" Vance are running the show, expect hezbollah, the houthis,Iran, and Iranian proxies to be absolutely bombed to oblivion by the world's greatest airforce. All the Israelis gota do is sit tight and wait for pappy Trump.

The Israelis are probably drawing up plans to invade Lebanon as we speak. It's just a question of timing now

What exactly is the ICJ going to do?

Not much more then "severely condem the actions of X", they can't really enforce the ruling. Countries can keep doing business as usual with Israel and aid them in their illegal occupation of Palestine, sure, but it's an interesting ruling nonetheless. I think it can be seen as proof that support for Israel's illegal occupation is waning.

Imagine a word run by those bureaucrats, oh wait..

As Israeli, I cannot dispute the ruling and I do understand where it’s coming from (I’ve never supported the settlements in my lifetime) but it is concerning that in all those pages condemning Israel there isn’t even one word about the Palestinians main export.. terrorism.

What goes around comes around:

United States intelligence agencies say Russia could send advanced anti-ship missiles to Yemen’s Houthis in retaliation for Washington’s support for Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing US officials
Iran currently supplies much of the Houthis’ munitions. A Houthi-launched drone that struck Tel Aviv on Friday — killing one person and injuring several others — was Iranian-made, the Israel Defense Force said.

One analyst told The Journal that munitions supplied by Russia “would represent a qualitative leap” in the Houthis’ capabilities.

95% likelihood.

Legality is a question of law. To have law you must have sovereignty. The ICJ does not possess sovereignty over Israel or any other state. Ergo, what Israel does may be morally dubious, horrific, ghastly, or perfectly ok, but what it does is neither legal nor illegal except insofar as it concerns Israeli domestic law.

What matters to Israel is American support. Left wing activists in the United States are a far bigger threat.

Houthis can be wiped off the face of the earth before lunch time. Its just that nobody really cares enough yet.
