Those are the terms Hamas set. Israel instead took 4 people alive and killed 200+ rescuing them. Can't say how many were criminals and terrorists, but probably a lot considering the 'journalists' and 'doctors' were holding jews captive

Abdullah Aljamal was indeed an active journalist writing for the US-based Palestine Chronicle and a spokesman for Hamas' Ministry of Labor, wrote that one article for Al Jazeera and had his bio on their site, and his father was a doctor.
Their residence was located in a fairly developed part of Gaza, directly next to a "hyper mall" supermarket in a residential area, not some tent encampment. When its described as a "refugee camp", they mean it looks like this;
