Oh I agree, nothing wrong with an echo chamber for peace and entertainment.

But /r/The_Donald is an abomination. A community of the worst, dumbest people in the world. And I'm attacking specifically that community, not Trump supporters in general.

And the "safe space" handle still applies, as they are banning users they disagree with.

I actually like The_Donald. Obviously it's in denial mode on anything Trump does wrong, but it occasionally has some interesting content, for instance Claire McCaskill lying about meeting the Russian ambassador. It also covered a crazy amount of people on the west coast(500+ if I remember correctly) arrested for child trafficking/abuse. I didn't see that story anywhere in the MSM.

I refuse to go the wasteland of the internet, so I'll give T_D credit.

Idk if you go there but they're seriously terrible. Between capitalizing every other word and outright hatred for everyone that disagrees with them and complete lack of rational thought, it's unbearable.

/pol/ is a trillion times better.

No, the "complete lack of rational thought" part makes them the dumbest.

The capitalizing every other word is what makes them the worst.

It's silly to claim voting for the winner is the correct decision. If Clinton had won (by the Electoral College) would you be saying the same thing about Clinton voters?

Child trafficking happens an awful lot on the west coast because a lot of the children are moved from Asian countries (and we're pretty close to Asia, relatively speaking). But human trafficking isn't big headline news right now so it won't make a splash--it won't generate the same type of viewership that reporting Trump picking his nose would.

You hear about a lot of it on local news, though.
