It was an ordinance put in place in 2010 which ordered companies to give construction works at least 10 minutes break every 4 hours. your mind is so crammed full of hogshit you can't recognize yet another clear example of republicans making basic life harder for the people just to benefit one to two billionaire companies to save 20 minute of man hours per day.

I know you are incapable of using critical thinking but you should understand that we are all plebs and having laws that enact the ability for a worker to take a water break and not be reprimanded is a win for the people. Imagine all the thousand of construction workers that won't get water breaks now just because hogs are hogging and squealing to appease one 10k donor. It shouldnt be a fucking law to force companies to give their worker water breaks anyway in the first place. The law was passed because greedy people literally killing workers over water breaks.

Its fucking astounding how horrifically Republicans have been mind fucked into thinking that helping citizens in any sort of way at all including themselves is automatically bad. Like holy fuck you gotta be the dumbest people to ever exist, or just have absolutely toxic morals.


You know worker conditions a hundred years ago? You know how much better worker conditions are for people nowadays compared to back then? If government didnt pass laws and force companies to make the livelihood better for their workers then a liot of people would still be working 7 days a week 10 hours a day living on a currency or medium that is only used at the local company owned stores. Can we please actually examine what is being done by Abbott and use reason logic and fucking common sense to understand that removing this law is bad and moving in a negative direction in terms of labour rights.

btw there is no legal requirement for lunch, which is what you think is in place, because that makes sense even in your simple ass mind. Well, there isnt a law for that in Texas, the law that Abbott is getting rid of was basically the law you are saying 'probably getting'... So even you believe that people should get like a half hour for lunch. Well they dont. The law said 20 minutes. But now Abbott got rid of that law.
