Intifada has a bit of a mixed meaning these days.

In the traditional sense, it is a revolution akin to the American Revolutionary War. Where a group overcomes an oppressive regime through violence.

However, for groups like Hamas, I imagine they have twisted the word to mean something entirely different.

The USA has already passed a law in 2002 giving the President of the United States the power and responsibility to use any necessary military force to release any US or allied personnel held by or at the request of the ICC.
It also prohibits any US government entity from assisting the ICC, prevents the ICC from operating on US soil and prohibits US military aid to countries party to the ICC unless they agree to refuse to extradite any US personnel to the ICC or assist investigations of the ICC into US personnel

Clearly, this act wasn't expansive enough, and should be amended to prevent the ICC from trying to wage war against our allies, because that's what trying to seize the head of a sovereign nation is.

My comment referred to a statement about “occupation” and so, as you wrote, Gaza has a border hence it was not occupied prior to 10/7. You were commenting on a post of my answering someone else..

Despite the 2005 withdrawal israel has full control control over Gaza's airspace, maritime access, and most of its land borders. Also the rafah crossing is controlled by Egypt with the coordination of Israel.

Why ? if a person wants to cross the border to Egypt, Israel is not preventing that. So basically your claim is to drop all monitoring actions towards a hostile neighbour and to let them bring in all the military equipment that they like. I mean, Russia went to war with Ukraine over that.. Israel is not making anything up. No reasonable country in the world will have an open border policy with hostile neighbour lol.
The Egyptians are pissing all over the Egypt-Israel peace agreement anyways so what exactly is the “coordination” with Israel ? Gaza has a border with a friendly state, they are not occupied.
