If half the world is so polarized that they cannot even acknowledge any actions Israel has taken contrary to peace, then peace will be difficult.

The whole world, including the most leftists people on the planet, agree Hamas has to be destroyed and is a bad faith actor

But the same world is willing to turn a blind eye to genocide on a society of children who were born into a world knowing nothing but death and destruction.

To be clear, All the Muslim countries in the region are also bad faith actors and get the same hard ons when Palestinians die, bar Egypt and Saudi.

Netanyahu Telling civilians to leave, then bombing the only way out into oblivion is also bad faith acting.

Bad faith acting all around. There will not be peace and a 2 state solution isn’t realistic with so many macro currents in play

Yea I also heard Trump mention "44 babies got their heads cut off" during his speech last night in Florida.

I could care less about either person/candidate/president but spreading such rumors is not only upsetting for most but very disheartening/downright awful.

By the way Biden blamed Trump for the babies deaths and Trump blamed Biden.

It's all "one-up manship" but just like the girl who dragged everyone's emotions with her later proven fake/never happened "they pulled the babies out of the incubators and left them to die on the cold floor"......sad reality

By the way both Trump and Biden blamed Iran for all of it so they are both just towing the line for the military industrial complex at this point....

there is no comfortable answer or solution when it comes to this conflict.

Exactly my thoughts, too many bad faith actors for peace to ever happen.

there's an additional hurdle to peace, Hamas being entrenched in a society of people who support their aims.

what we have is a prison, and the prisoners hate the guards. inside of the prison is a gang. not everyone, and even most prisoners, are in the gang. but most if not all support the goal, hit the guards where it hurts. the guards just see orange jump suits.

Israel should pull a Desantis, put them in buses and drop them off in Iran, Lebanon, Jordan, etc. Load them on boats, give them enough food and water to live, and ship them out. this is arguably inhumane, but its inarguably not genocide.

Israel is only a disposable "proxy", partly explaining the western countries support, and it may not get that much assistance if situation derails too much.

cnn is printing the headline "israel cant confirm beheading report". then in the article itself officials openly say "we do have reports of beheaded babies and children", but the response is "see i told you it was all lies".
