I never said that the procedure in the SingularityHub article wasn't cloning because it's debatable whether it is or isn't.
I said that the artificial wombs from the Metro.co.uk article were not cloning and also said that cloning isn't illegal in the US.
I would personally argue that if a couple used both procedures, that it wouldn't be cloning because the artificial egg will still be required to be fertilized, so the offspring will be unique.
Maybe there's something that could work involving self fertilization, but I'm going to be honest with you, I don't really know anything about how that works in humans other than it's pretty rare.

Cloning is legal in the US and a couple using an artificial womb wouldn't be cloning anyways.
