Bro that is my entire point. I am saying he didn’t die from Covid. He tested positive for Covid therefore went down as a Covid death.
The cdc doesn’t count they set guidelines and report each individual state reported statistics to the cdc.
You literally proved my point when you quoted the cdc guidelines saying Covid as a comorbodity counts as a Covid death. Again, I am sorry you don’t understand what that means.
Okay look bro. Please let me quote it one more time... seriously. I am trying to understand if I am misunderstanding this sentence:
"If COVID-19 appears among the causes and contributors, CDC guidance counts that as a COVID-19-related death."
To me the above statement means: If a death is caused and contributed by covid then +1 covid death. Do I read that right? I am genuinely asking... English is my 3rd language.
If my translation is correct then the state should NOT count Floyd as a covid death.
The original (quoted) statement does not say Covid as a comorbidity counts as a Covid death. Covid's present doesnt make it a covid death. The death needs to be caused and contributed by covid. That is why the sentence started with IF.
My msg is not an attack at you. I really want to know where my misunderstanding in that is.
