Both the western and russian interests were obviously corrupt. But at least when the Russians oligarchs were running the show, they had the decency to keep up their facade of legitimacy and avoid stirring the pot. When the Americans took over, we put a CIA chief and the president's crackhead son on the Burisma board and started a war that's killed thousands. How truly American, to be the bull in every china shop. Maybe I don't have the experience of insular Russian propaganda to compare it to, but I doubt they were as self-righteous about pilfering the Ukrainian economy as we are with Ukrainian lives.

I'd be curious to hear your take on the American Civil War, WW2, as well as the First Gulf War. Hopefully it's as entertaining as the bold.
