Let’s put this in a way I am sure makes too much sense to acknowledge. I live in a very red city. One of the most conservative cities in one of the most conservative states. My girlfriend is not even close to being a conservative. Say this “study” happened in our city. Her cell phone activity is part of the data pool that is framed to be conservative.

Maybe they don't simply search from their homes, they try to satisfy their cravings everywhere they go, school computer labs, libraries, internet cafes...etc. This would give more hits from unique IP addresses. But the viewers are actually the same people, aka dems.
