I feel that relationships should have a certain degree of honesty.
Some men might find it ok, I think I am a little familiar with it , since Thailand have a fair amount of Transgender.
But even then, they will be a bit upfront with it.

Perhaps it might be a little difficult for someone to digest after being in a relationship with a "transgender" and she/he didn't mention to you about the situation.
If you are in love maybe it changes everything but still....

If you have been with somebody a week, no need to disclose yet if you aren't comfortable. If you're several months in, then yeah you probably should. But it's going to be a personal decision when that time is.

I would have to agree to disagree, I am not familiar with where you are from, America perhaps , it is still quite an uncomfortable situation in my country though.

in my country, not saying something like that IMMEDIATELY will get you beaten up real bad  the only personal decision is how badly you want to get hurt, with severity of injuries being directly proportional to time passed before you said it

and i wouldnt want it any other way

Except the system we have now is much worse than a tiered system like combat sports have.

The biggest thing holding back women right now is the lack of sports science dedicated to improving their performance. Men had decades of a head start.

If you don't believe me that it makes a massive difference, women's marathon times massively improved as a result of improved research on improving their performance.

Duh. And womens sprinting will always be slower than mens. High jump will always be men. Weight lifting will always be men. Notice you don’t see any female to male trans women breaking 70 year old records. Your chart only proves that understanding how bodies works can lead to tweaked performance, which of course. See that flat line there? That’s called a peak. See the line below it? That’s mens. Stop being a shill for hypothetical perceived oppression so you can spout your crazy nonsense about changing 99.9% of the world. You’re not a hero or champion you’re just pissing 99% of people off and thinking you’re still right. Maybe learn rendering software or read a book.

Depends how far you are into the relationship.

hm, i guess it really depends on how you met your partner and how you define "relationship". i always found the "dating" ritual that i observed through american media kind of weird. my own experience is very different in that i met my girlfriends through common interests (sports), at university, or through mutual acquaintances, meaning i've never uses any dating apps or services - i just imagine that if you did that, invested a lot of time, emotions, and maybe money into a relationship, only to find out later that your partner is a trans woman or man (and that's a complete deal-breaker for you), you'd be kind of disappointed in them and feel somewhat betrayed.

now i'm totally open to arguments as to why that might technically not be the case, this is just my personal opinion of course - but since sex is an important part of most romantic relationships, i feel like this is something that people should disclose early on, in order not to "mislead" their potential partners.

Since we're all giving unsolicited advice, how about you render your mouth around the barrel of a shotgun.

worth it

And by "lead to tweaked performance" you mean "massive improvements". The records for both men and women are still trending downward. We will have to see how the future shakes out, but it's very much a possibility that women overtake men's records in the future as procedures get optimized.

There's another issue still dominating, and that's that men still have much easier access to individualized training than women because of the lack of overall scientific progress on women's sports. Women still aren't up to parity in support systems and still have a ways to go before we can say the playing field is truly level.
