Even if I accept that (I don't) it doesn't really answer the question. Even very simple things like the fact that we breathe through the same hold we swallow through is sloppy. God's design is crap if God designed the universe.

Philosopher Leibniz coined a whole new word for this huge area of inquiry – theodicy. He said theodicy meant justifying and proving God’s existence in light of humanity’s imperfections.

Science and philosophy tell us that only two basic processes operate in the universe: entropy and negative entropy. Entropy means disintegration, the loss of energy, a breaking down, a decaying. Negative entropy means growth, a change that moves in the direction of higher and more complex organization. Static actuality is a fable. No such phenomenon (outside the delusional thoughts of humans) actually exists in the physical universe.

So scientifically and spiritually, we either progress or regress.

You keep talking off-topic nonsense, so I ask you again: Why the confusion?

Also Mr. Leibniz should stick to "justifying" instead of going full Dunning Kruger by saying "proving"*lol

Nice dodge. None of that has anything to do with what I said.

Humans plan it advance because their brain is capable of doing that. Even an earthworm would do that, if he could.
Also a lot of animals DO plan it advance, but I think you already know that, so there is no need for examples here.
Evil is a subjective word by the way. Like animals humans also do as they please very often. If this is not something we generally accept this called a crime. Those are 100% human concepts to save ourselfs from harm and to strengthen the group. No god needed to explain this.
And yes, we rule over other animals because we can. We are the smartest animal around, so its easy for us to rule over them.

If christians are richer and happier it could mean that the study you got this from was biased. It could also mean, that only certain christians where compared to certain non-christians.
It also doesnt tell anything about their believes or in which way they exercise their christianity. I was a christian too until 2016 when I quit. I never believed in god, i just was a legal christian because I got baptised as a baby and didnt think about retreating until then.
Also there is plenty of poor, sick and unhappy christians as well, so its not a very reliable conclusion, right?

So you cant disprove the aggregate statistics outright.

Not to mention Isaac Newton and countless other scientists were all believing church-goers. The scientific method itself was invented by a protestant.

I didnt even try to disprove anything here, no.
Your arguments are way too weak to do so.

Of course I know that Newton and many other scientists were and still are believing church goers. Nothing wrong with that.
The scientific method wasnt invented by a single human being by the way. Science is exercised for thousands of years. People have always tried to solve problems with scientific methods. Its a big part of what seperates us from other life forms. We are problem solvers. That is science. Its problem solving.

So after countless posts, I would love to point something out:

Not a single believer came into this thread and answered my original question by simply saying:

"I believe in god, because....."

Didnt happen. I expected it to be like that, but isn't it still incredible?

Its always a dodging contest, trying to counterask me stupid unrelated questions, discredit scientific stuff, history or whatever else they choose.

So again, to any believer who is interested in sharing his or her reason for believing in god: You're very welcome.

Nope, because I am obviously not a Christian. I have manners and dont wanna intrude their fellowship and cause trouble there. I just wanted to ask a basic question here in this forum, which seemed to be fitting.

No, you just want someone of faith to accept your unreasonable assumptions instead of having an open dialogue.

Lets say its just evidence, because faith isnt a thing.
