1. The coup in Ukraine which led to the current crisis was performed by the US in 2014 by the Obama admin. Thus the blame for this crisis lands squarely on the US for causing this chain of events in the first place.

2. The Ukrainian army is now threatening to attack the breakaway region of Donbass/Luhansk, which is populated by those whom rejected the coup.

3. The Russian government is warning Ukraine not to attack Donbass, otherwise they might intervene militarily to prevent further bloodshed. Not once have they indicated they plan to "invade" Ukraine, but it is possible they will destroy any attacking Ukrainian forces against Donbass.

This is the actual situation. You're still droning on about Russia starting a war and how Biden is too "weak" to stand up to him. That's the GOP's narrative, but it's not grounded in reality and it is just petty nonsense that doesn't address the real cause of the crisis. It won't be Russia starting a war, it is Ukraine which is starting a war under direction from the US while the media covers for them and blames Russia for everything (as always.) This crisis has nothing to do with right vs. left nonsensical petty arguing, and has no place for those kind of petty party politics, because in reality the situation is totally independent from that.

There is nothing for Biden to "stand up to" because a) there is no threat of Russian invasion and b ) it is Ukraine which is the aggressor here. On the contrary, what Biden *should* be doing is tell the Ukrainians to back off from Donbass and stick to the Minsk peace agreement, which they are now breaking.

I understand many of you people live in a fairytale land where a totally false picture of geopolitics has been painted for you, but if you could put aside your own bias for two seconds and actually cared about the truth you would realize what is actually going on here.

Honestly I'm really disappointed in the conservative position regarding the Ukraine crisis. Conservatives know that they've been lied to about Russia "stealing the 2016 election", they know the media is fake news, but when it comes to geopolitics and war they gobble up the very same lies from the very same people that they have themselves called fake news, just to promote their own selfish narrative about how Biden is "weak" or whatever. That is not only totally pointless but it ignores the root cause of the crisis, it ignores Ukraine's aggression towards its own citizens and the responsibility it bears, and it ignores the truth about what really has happened in Ukraine for the past 8 years. Damn it makes me sick.
