I did a math problem that almost no one has any business knowing how to do. I've done graduate math courses and never had to use that skill.

But ok, here's some more examples.

Most lottery / radio contests ask you to answer a skill testing question - what if they ask you one of the many things you seem to have randomly forgot?

What happens if at some point in the future you need to apply for a new job, but can't do high school math when they ask you to do their retard filtration exam?

What happens if you need to solve really any kind of problem that involves basic high school level arithmetic, for instance: Solving angles to deal with construction around the house. You would fail at this and look stupid in front of your wife, who now thinks you're an incompetent cubicle person who can't do manly things around the house.

because i am already in a specialized field which requires me to never have to do those things and i have ownership in the firm i work for and probably dont need to apply for any job any time soon.

also, solving angles to deal with construction around the house - i am not an engineer, and any remodelling i would be doing would not involve any type of math and nor has any type of remodelling work i have ever paid for or participated in have i used anything related to highschool math. you think contstruction labourers say hold up let me do a quick math problem first before i start the reno.
