No one is putting words in your mouth. When asked to name Obama's accomplishments, from the point of view of historians, the fact that he was the first black president was third on the list.

Meaning you glossed over the first two so you could make a strawman.

If you think "Historians will consider Obama top-tier because he was black." was a fair summation of my post, you're probably too obsessed with identity politics. The first black president would obviously garner more points among historians in a nation with our racial history. That's just how historians think about these things... it's about narrative as well, not just substance.

Edit - To add, I'm not sure they are wrong. Narrative does matter from a historical perspective. Leadership is about more than just the statistics of what happened.

I didn't say anything that dramatic. When asked to name the accomplishments that would drive historians to place Obama in the top echelon of presidents, you mentioned "he is black" in the top three. That's not how healthy human beings think about one another. I understand that you're not necessarily expressing your own thoughts, but rather what a historian might say. That's precisely the problem.



If it's true, it's true, and they deserve to suffer the repercussions.

you claim to be a conservative yet defend trump every chance you get. trump is not a conservative. why do you support him? it baffles me. any true conservative would never believe trump is a good president. he was not fiscally responsible, he is not effiicient, he cared way too much about governing women and social items like lbgq rights etc. and was all about big government consolidating power.
