Democrats would have gladly done 2k per person. It's the Republicans in congress that you should be mad at, but you aren't allowed to criticize the party so you are lashing out.

Overall id say the blame goes 60% republicans, 25% pelosi, 15% Trump. Trump didn't fight for higher payments even though he wanted to. He got cucked by his swamp demon advisors

Pelosi rejected the $1.8T stimulus several months ago, this is well documented so no, they would not have and they did not. ive criticized McConnell and the Republican swamp demons in Congress/politics repeatedly. you thinking it’s only a criticism of Democrats when one hurls criticism at swamp demons is on you.

If you take the current bill and just add another 600 or 1400 to everybody to it do you really think Pelosi wouldn't have immediately given that the green light? McConnel was the one actively fighting to lower the stimulus payments.

and they (the swamp; including democrats and republicans) vote against standalone bills for only relief to Americans too. dont worry the newest stimulus is at best 20% relief, and 80% pork barrel so taxpayers will end up givin the Kennedy center another $30MM for them to fire more employees.
