New Zealand saw an extremely high level of compliance and a very strict couple of lockdowns, we've completely eliminated community transmission twice, and it's all because people stayed home, and socially distanced everywhere. We don't have a high percentage of the population believing retarded conspiracy theories and actually live in a place that's free, so we don't worry about our freedoms being eroded by a request to temporarily wear safety gear.

If there's ever a zombie apocalypse the USA is fucked, the level of ignorance and lack of education means most citizens live in this weird place of being suspicious of the government they elected and consuming way too much entertainment news and believing it's the truth instead of sensationalised stories designed to earn profit.
