I do think it's pretty funny how so many people in this thread seem unable to acknowledge the 'coincidence' that the candidate they felt did better is also the candidate that they politically align with.

I don't see anybody saying Kamala did better. Ice only said she did what she needed, in that she didn't do damage.

I'm only 1/3 of the way through watching this debate, and the quality of the civility is much, much higher than the Presidential debate, which is refreshing. But goddamn neither of them want to answer the actual question they're being asked.

My comment only applies to the people saying that X candidate did better, you silly goose.

Yeah, and I'm saying even people who support Kamala aren't saying she did better, or are saying Pence did better.

I've already heard the fracking position of Biden's campaign... you guys are the ones disputing it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPAuTiO1zRg

Kamala Harris did a complete 180 flip flop on fracking. She previously explicitly said she wanted to ban all fracking, and now says she wouldn't ban fracking.
Joe Biden has staked out an 'official' position in which he states he would ban future permits for fracking while grandfathering in existing permits, which the Trump camp argues is tantamount to a fracking ban. However, Joe Biden being Joe Biden, has flubbed that response in debates and said he would ban all fracking while arguing with Bernie Sanders during the primaries, then after the debate walked it back and said his position hadn't changed. When Biden is talking to liberal audiences, he plays up his plan as a 'ban on fracking'. When he's talking to voters in Pennsylvania, he plays up his plan as 'not a ban on fracking'. He's chosen to stick with the latter messaging on a national stage.

If there's any confusion over Biden's position its his fault for the transparent pandering, but for Harris its pure flip flopping, she can't walk away from that

Sounds like you're upset Kamala and Joe are good politicians.

It's hard to discuss issues like this with someone who supports a guy who has flip flopped on practically everything. There's not much room for you guys to make criticisms without being hypocrites.

I am quite accepting of the fact you consider that the hallmark of good politicians.

Biden won't do a damn thing about fracking and will take credit for reduced carbon emissions as new gas plants take coal plants offline (kind of like how Pence tried to take credit even though it's pure fucking economics in play and has been since the Bush years). You're insane if you think Biden will do anything against fracking other than pander to his base while pandering even harder to the industry. Harris would at least commit to signing frack-reducing legislation, but she's not gonna push for it.
