Subaru 10/10. I enjoy my Crosstrek. Does everything I need it to, lugs my shit to a trial head or a mountain to ski, okay fuel efficiently, sure footed through the rocky mountains in the winter and low maintenance costs.

If there comes a time where I cant just hop on the trail with an ATV or Skidoo and I need to trailer, Toyota Tacoma will be the pick.

In LA, if you drive a car that costs less than 60k, you will face severe discrimination. The only exception to this rule is if you have a hybrid. It's the best way to hide your wealth (or lack thereof).

what happened to us staying out of permanent alliances for this type of stuff. I bet you're crazy about pouring money and resources into Israel too. The warmongering by people in this thread is despicable and a real shame. I urge you fine gentlemen to consider what these actions would end up doing rather than what they sound like they would do. "defending democracy and freedom across the globe" sounds pretty sweet, but its trash policy and I think if you guys considered it for a minute you'd reconsider

Its not a trash policy, but the way it's been carried out in the past has been trash.

Defending an already existing democracy is a good way to exercise that policy in a good way.

unfortunately how its turned out in the past is exactly how it'll turn out this time too, and every time after that.

I swear this sad mentality is the sole reason I hope Trump wins 2020. If he can keep us out of a pointless war for 4 more years while pulling our troops out of as many outposts and strongholds around the world as he can it'd be worth it. Not saying he will, but I estimate from backers that the military industrial complex is more accustomed to getting things done in a more "traditional" administration.

Gridlock and inefficiency is the best one can hope for when much of our foreign policy/government is bought and sold by the defense industry (and kind, idealistic people like you who play along because they use words that sound fashionable)

The US should absolutely form permanent alliances in order to suppress foes. If you don't, you're no longer king of the hill.
