LOL I know you're not exactly the brightest spark but *YOU* arrived there in post #90 after a wild post from your buddy saucepot namely post #87.

We know you're most likely suffering from some kind of disability but at least try your best to keep track of who posted what ok little fellow? Good boy

again, if you had read your own source, you'd know that state-imposed forced labour in prisons was already a relevant factor before. it completely destroys your idiotic 'unrelated topic' narrative. epic self-own there, buddy.

but hey, nice going there, shilling for private prisons, bootlicker.

tier IV shithole, lol.

*labor, kiddo

So now you try to wiggle your way out of the mess you got yourself into by dragging in that "state-imposed forced labor in prisons was already a relevant factor".

If the US is scoring so badly there how it's then possible that Germany's numbers are so much worse than the US'. Let me show you again because your tiny brain does not compute.

From global slavery index

The Global Slavery Index estimates that on any given day in 2016 there were 167,000 people in conditions of modern slavery in Germany https://www.globalslaveryindex.org/2018/findings/country-studies/germany/

The Global Slavery Index 2018 estimates that on any given day in 2016 there were 403,000 people living in conditions of modern slavery in the United States https://www.globalslaveryindex.org/2018/findings/country-studies/united-states/

What a truly terrible shit hole your country apparently is. The US' number includes all that state impose forced labor and if we correct for demographics there is still a shit ton more modern day slaves in Germany. They're not criminals in prison you implicate so they're all slaves!! Poor bastards!!

OMFG kiddo you keep destroying yourself. Go dye your hair again to pick yourself up you epic fail

if you told 100 prisoners they could do no work or work even for free about 75 would choose the slavery. prison isn't exactly an exciting place. wages are too low for many roles, especially in private prisons, but its not coerced in the same way slavery was. nor are they whipped like slavery, nor fired for poor performance like in regular jobs.

I know mate, fender is just using it in a desperate attempt to get some leverage in this thread but he keeps failing at it.

If I'd find myself in jail somehow I'd be absolutely happy with whatever bits and pieces of work I could get. Seriously

liberals such as him want to raise the min wage to 15$/hr then also give prisoners min wage. then will cry when there's not enough tax dollars left for their pet projects. its a shame fender has never been inside of a US prison, i think a few years might give him some perspective he desperately needs.

liberal? you idiot, i'm not a liberal. do you even know what that word means? i'm a progressive. it's funny seeing you shill for the private prison industry though, your butthurt reveals your true colours. here's some hard truths about it:

Similar circumstances are what pushed my ancestors to migrate to US from modern day Poland. We don't bitch about reparations though.

i think people are getting confused over an important distinction here: i'm not saying that working while in prison is necessarily a bad thing. it has, in fact, many positive aspects - but it gets problematic when it becomes a significant economic incentive for a privatised prison industry, leading to harsh punishment, recidivism, and discriminatory laws and their enforcement - which clearly is the case in that tier IV shithole, looking at the makeup of america's outrageously large prison population.

speaks for itself that some people are so blind with butthurt and jingoism that they would try to downplay, or even support that.
