I wonder how many more crushing electoral defeats they have to suffer until they realize that it is their priors which are wrong?



This reminds me of a famous quote by the late German lyricist Bertold Brecht. In the wake of the 17. June 1953 uprising in socialist East Germany (which was violently crushed by the stationed Soviet troops), he wrote:

"The people have lost the confidence of the government. It will only be able to win it back by working twice as hard. Wouldnt it be easier if the government dissolved its people and elected a different one?"

If it helps I don't think Trump is a particularly bad president, he is in way over his head and is beneath the office but I felt worse during the Bush 2 years.

If I was conservative I would be pretty excited about the two judges, axing the mandate, cj reform, promoting whites with identity politics for them since everyone else has it, he hasn't gotten us into any wars, I'm sure there are plenty of other things.

I just do not like the reinvigorated support for those who wish to exclude people with differences from public life.

This impeachment is from the Benghazi playbook. It worked for the GOP so why not? Serious question, why not have a big nothing burger? Tactically speaking for the Dems.
