See, and that's the point: in the case we were talking about here, the moderator who was fired did go out of her way specifically to disrespect these people as little as humanly possible without betraying her own beliefs and morals.

The discussion is not about those who reject transgenderism and are dicks or trolls about it, we're talking about people who try to stay as polite as possible while not caving in to, or affirming, transgenderism. But even that is not enough, the SJW brigade will stop short of nothing but total surrender by those who disagree with them. Which brings me back to what I was saying on page 1 of this thread:

Using the preferred pronoun to address people is just courteous. When you don't do this you are creating a hostile work environment for somebody else. It is in no religion I have heard of that calls for you to create a hostile work environment for anybody. There is no religion that creates sin or wrongdoing by proxy either. It is a really weak argument that addressing a transgendered person how they wish to be addressed is the equivalent of being transgendered in the eyes of some deity. No, you're making excuses for bigotry and you aren't entitled to do this at work. You aren't sinning if your employees are taking birth control that they get through an employee insurance program but there are a bunch of blathering retards that believe that dumb shit so I guess questioning whether transgendered people are real people at work is viable too.

Misgendering = hostile.
Degendering = neutral, might not even notice it if you dont specifically look out for it.
