It does have to do with all the OTHER US Citizens that pay federal taxes, and expect those federal taxes to improve their lives via the US govt.
When you have millions of illegal aliens NOT paying federal taxes, it means everyone else's federal taxes, don't go as far, don't buy as much...etc.

That's the whole argument with California at the moment. That California is not identifying known illegal aliens when the US govt, asks for that information.
IF the IRS had that info, via federal tax returns, the Fed wouldn't HAVE to ask California for that info.

if no one paid taxes ..the wealthiest would have to pay for armies to protect their over seas interest ..1,000 bases in 80 countries ... and rest of us would need to teach our kids to become doctors so we can get medical care.. and grow food.. boom problem solved . And if we get invaders here we can all join that army .. wealthiest own everything so they can pay to protect it..But no now they pay less taxes and we pay for everything .. like we own anything to protect .

That's a pitiful argument to make when California pays more federal taxes than any other state and supports your veteran care, childhood healthcare programs, infrastructure repair, etc. Especially if you're in a red state. And our tax base is bolstered by immigrants paying taxes. Those are illegal immigrant tax dollars paying to fix potholes in your backwater state. If the argument could be made that state tax contributions can be regulated under Interstate Commerce, then every state except California is in violation and needs to pay more federal taxes immediately.

That's demonstrably not true. Lots of rich people not only don't pay federal taxes, they get free money from the federal government due to itemization and loss accounting. Wealth is quite literally being redistributed from the poor and middle classes to wealthy individuals and, most especially, corporations. But they trick gullible people like you into believing their false narrative to keep us from uniting and throwing off their chains.

California told the federal government to use the tax dollars we already paid them to enforce their own laws in whatever way they legally can. We aren't preventing the federal government from coming in here, but we certainly won't allow a dime of our resources to illegally bolster their efforts through taxation without representation.

You would have been a Tory during the American Revolution. I hope you know that.
