I'm actually curious what % of americans could distinguish between "assault rifle" and "assault weapon" and have any clue what the "assault weapons ban" actually regulates
Maybe 10-20%?

Can you see how that statement and the conjecture ink and dagger stemmed from assumptions, isnt really worth posting without any evidence? He doesnt even back it up by saying how he reached his looney conclusions. This must be his "thing", posts edgy things, doesnt substantiate them, insults people who ask for credibility.
