You could have just said the last two sentences there. I believe that the problems are real. Earlier when I said we disagree, this is what I meant. There is no need to use the Islam analogy, because arguments by analogy are the weakest kind. I want the police to quit killing and arresting blacks at disproportinate rates. I want courts to give them fair trials. I want prisons to not be places where blacks or any human are locked into servitude for the profits of another like our prisons. Since BLM is linked to queer and trans rights it is a liberation movement for all people.

And I want blacks to stop making police have to kill and arrest them at disproportionate rates.
But clearly there's not much point to engaging now on the actual meat of whether the perception is real or not. I've laid out my stats and reasoning in the past, you've said your piece
What's at issue here is recognizing that whether or not its justified, black lives matter is an anti-police hate group. Their efforts are not targeted at uplifting black people or providing services, they're targeted at tearing down police, punishing them by bringing 'social justice' upon them.
And that anti-police rhetoric very plainly crosses into overt hatred and anger. No PR face can change that. Justifying it and denying it are two different things. That popular hatred has provoked rioting, that media narrative has inspired ambush murders of police.

The best thing is that nobody loses.

Except the police. That's the point.

I dunno, maybe blacks should quit committing crimes at disproportionate rates?
I'm not saying cops never make mistakes, but I wouldn't say it's a disproportionate amount.

If you follow some of our previously ramblings, it actually is arguably disproportionate police shootings on racial lines, just in the other direction, ie white people are more likely to get shot by police than would follow metrics like violent crime and murder rates, police interactions, etc
Blacks are shot about 2.8x more per capita than whites, but blacks commit 7.5x more murders per capita. I don't know what's a better metric for how often someone can escalate to life or death situations, but proportionate to criminality the narrative at least falls apart.

...why ? This has nothing to do with Trump or his supporters. This is about a state senator who made a social media post hoping that the President gets assassinated. You're making a false equivalence instead of addressing the issue at hand.

Except they're not "very much similar."

What Maria Chappelle Nadal said:
"I hope Trump gets assassinated"

What Trump said:
"If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people — maybe there is, I don’t know.”

Now, granted, it was an incredibly stupid & unnecessary statement to make, however he never said he "hoped the second amendment people ASSASSINATE her. That would be very much similar.

wrong on basically every single point. first of all, i stated multiple times that her comments were indeed inappropriate and rightfully criticised, so your claim that i didn't address the issue is simply a lie. secondly, everybody knows what trump suggested there - after falsely claiming she was going to abolish the second amendment, which makes it even worse. acting like he wasn't, just because he didn't use the term "assassinate" is simply dishonest - so please hold your emperor to the same standards as a random democratic lawmaker in missouri.

this whole fabricated outrage is as laughable as it is hypocritical. snowflakes gonna snowflake...

Well, if we are getting technical...

Trump was not an elected official when he said that. Also, there is a HUGE difference between mud slinging during the campaign, and actually using the word assassinate concerning the President of the United States.

You don't have to like Trump, but he IS the President and should be treated as such.

Apparently. Do you actually have a link to the study or are you just pulling the picture from a Huffington Post article?

It's an info graphic about racial preferences in dating.

It was a joke response to the question: Why are black women so angry.

Gotta admit, that was a good one. :D

there is a difference indeed: trump even provided a lie as justification for his suggestion.
and trump was running for the highest office there is, but i didn't see you criticise his comments, hypocrite.

how do you think the giant man baby, the petty twitter snowflake, the racist dog whistler, the lazy and incompetent moron should be treated? no comment about him could disgrace the office as badly as the fact that he holds it...
