Yes, a LOT of the attacks are muslim vs. muslim. 90%, I don't think so. Since the 80's they have been branching out. A little at a time, but nevertheless, the attacks on non-muslim ppl in non muslim locations has been growing, alarmingly fast.
Its a pretty good approximation. Almost all the terrorism deaths come from islamist attacks, mostly concentrated in iraq, afghanistan, syria, yemen, etc. Theres a sizeable amount in indonesia and nigeria, and what % boko haram kills fellow muslims versus christians is up to debate. Other than that, indian terrorism is still a thing, might screw up the muslim-on-muslim numbers. But 80-90% should be a good approximation, almost all the bombings occur around the sunni shiite sectarian conflict, mostly sunni terrorism and shiite organized forces.
