The Earth Is Flat - Topic

is this real?

Have you ever taken an international flight across an ocean? Look at the flight trajectory..There is a reason planes have to "arc" to fly a distance that would seem more logical as a straight line. "Great circle distance" is the most direct path between two points on a sphere.

Are airlines wasting thousands of hours, fuel, and money to discredit God and keep up this grand conspiracy of a spherical world? It's a laughable thought.

but you are assuming that all independent airline companies who compete with each other would rather keep up a conspiracy to discredit a religious belief than roll in massive profit.

There is just absolutely no incentive to keep up a lie like that other than the paranoid thought that "everyone is plotting against me"

If the sun were a stationary object with the earth orbiting around it, rotating once every 24 hours, then at either side of the sun, approximately 180 days apart the opposite side of the earth would be facing the sun at any particular time. High noon in january should be midnight in july. But that doesn't change, proving the earth does not orbit the sun and rotate. Checkmate sheeple.
