Somewhat correct, but mostly wrong.
Shooting, like most activities that require practice and training, is 90% muscle memory.
Cops get a shot of adrenaline in high stress scenarios too even with training.
You can be as calm as you want, if you cant hit the target it doesnt matter. If you freak out, draw and fire instinctually your chances are pretty good.
Again, you generalize everything to suit your argument and claim its a fact. If range time doesnt matter than why do cops spend time at a shooting range every month practicing shooting in low stress environments?
