Lol, I knew it was eventually going to come to someone mentioning the first amendment. I half expected it to be the other guy.

Lol I was waiting too. Next: Hitler.

People are trying to ban the freedom to be a security guard who has never done anything successfully other than lose weight, you guys.  Someone please help the poor, oppressed security guards.  :(

So what exactly would you label almost every post in this thread by you, lifebane, and the other people crying about him pointing out the obvious (in a private setting, where she chose to make it public)?
Slander? Defamation? What?
You guys are all essentially saying because you disagree with him, he is wrong, and you guys are free to say whatever you want about him. However, anything in the opposite direction is instantly attacked.
The pure hypocrisy in this thread is overwhelming to say the least.

Not going to say anything further though, as it obviously serves no purpose, no one is going to change your mind. No one's even allowed to attempt to apparently.

Since you cant read i am not going to bother.
THEY WERE ALL SUPPOSED TO BE DOING BOTH.
The people exercising were supposed to be dieting.
They lost the same weight as people who didnt exercise.
If the best way to lose weight was to put a belt sander on your ball sack most people wouldnt lose weight..
Thats what its like for the majority trying to juggle a diet and exercise.

Obviously you didn't read the article. They said that no one was to change their diet.

Sending a message to someone unbidden that's meant to shame them for being fat is different from responding to someone's unbidden message, obviously.

And she didn't choose to make it public, her husband did. She just chose to respond to it after it started ballooning out of control.

The sad part is in this era she would be considered overweight.

Whilst I was mostly interested in the responses to this thread, I think my OP was a bit too harsh on her. I did not know she had thyroid issues.

I still think that she (or her husband if he posted the dox online) handled it wrong though. And whilst the guy is a douche, I do think that at the moment people are a bit too apologetic towards obesity and the problems it causes. I mean, I know that most of the fat people don't want to be fat and that they struggle with it physically and psychologically, but some way to at least promote (not enforce) lifestyle changes for these people would be nice. In a nice way, not a condescending 'You're fat and you need to do something about it' way.
