space is not empty, it has atleast 4 very well built dimensions, and some form of underlying electro magnetic energry known as vaccume energy.
it is this vaccume energy that allows particles to appear from empty space and it is because of how fast they apprear and then dissapear that allows them to defy conservation of mass.
like constaly, every single electron you see around you is creating photons, the electrons are splitting, splitting into electrons and photons, magically appreaing photons, but just as quickly as they appear they become just an electron again, or perhaps they could even split again, where the electron becomes 2 other elementary particles, so now you have 3 elementary particles that combined have much more energy/mass then the electron had on its own.
and this is just happeneing over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again....Untill, alittle bit of energy shows up and that photon that was just virtural now has the energy to become real with out defying conservation of mass, so it just goes flying out at the speed of light.
this can be taken to extrems too like in super coliders, light is relativly low in energy, while some bosons might require millions of times more energy for them to become real, so they colide these protons and electrons depending on what kind of colider they are using, and soooo much energy exists in that one little spot that these bosons can become real and go flying off.
but for this to happen, for these particles to come out of no where requires the zero point energy that exists with in space itself, so the question is how can space come from nothing, my opion is similar to hawkings, i like to think of where the universe is now as having been absoutely nothing, before hand, not even dimensions, its like you walk out side and loook at your yard and see just grass, theres nothing. so then you go and grab a shovel and you dig yourself a hole now this empty hole is the dimesions that have come out of this nothing to become empty space, but there are still 2 things un accounted for, the energy you used digging the hole and the big pile of dirt sitting next to the hole. im not sure which is which but i like to think of one being matter or energy, and the other being anti mater or anti energy.
thus in a sense that it is the absolutel lack of anything including dimensions that really allowed for the universe to come from nothing.
Imo
