Capitalism is not the enemy. I hear time in and out with close-minded liberals trying to blame "greed" and "capitalism" for these problems. First of all, there is not a single human or even organism on this earth not imbued with greed.

Greed doesn't cause the difference you observe. Nor do companies on their own. Their influence extends into what the founding fathers would've referred to as a "forbidden realm" however. The government, and our Constitution.


It's disgusting that we do this.

America exploits other countries for their resources (with approval of our government), hence why America is wealthy and fed.

Since this thread is about the Fed I think we should note that today was the first of what will be regularly scheduled news conferences by the institution , something that has never happened in it's history .

That's all media exposure will do. It will make people apathetic regarding the institution, and make it's place more acceptable in the public view. Thus it will make itself untargetable.

Media is good at being "selective" in what it shows the public. How else do stations keep their ratings up? How else are images portrayed in a biased fashion?

Until Ron Paul's plan to audit the fed thoroughly and completely goes through, nothing else matters. If they are unable to be audited, one would wonder why they destroyed their records.

The fed creates these economic collapses! They manipulate the market (via controlling supply, and hence value of USD. also asking for all of the owed debt at once)
