Yeah, it's called an urban legend or urban myth or wives tale. Whatever you want to call it, it's not true.

lol'd again literal interpretation. lock jaw = dogs with the strongest known jaws. that doesn't mean lock jaw = 1 breed. many breeds are known to be muscular. hence many breeds are said to have lock jaw. this world of yours, is there only black and white?

Wrong. Lockjaw is a known term improperly given to pits, stating that there jaws lock onto their prey and do not let go. You even admitted that you "heard" and didn't actually research the information that you throw around. Don't pretend that you meant it any other way than what is commonly used.

Fun Fact

Humans have a stronger bite than dogs.

Lockjaw is the popular name for the inability to use your jaws when you are infected with tetanus, afaik.

I've never heard of it being used in another way.

I rarely see responsible pet owners. Most of my friends have annoying as fuck dogs that didn't get trained. I have multiple family members as well that have annoying dogs. I don't even go over to certain people's houses because of their dog(s). I just want to punch some of them in the face if it will mean they'll stop jumping and biting me. I'm getting a new dog in less than two weeks and we have classes setup and have done tons of research on training techniques. If I'm going to spend this much on a dog I might as well feed it right and train it right.

There's an urban myth that pitbulls have the ability to lock their jaws, giving them that incredible ripping power. In reality, they are just biting and using their extremely powerful necks to cause horrendously powerful rips.

That they have the strongest you silly little ass.
