We're NOT saying SHS isn't an irritant and a minor risk of cancer, etc., we're saying that the risk is low enough that infringing on people's rights isn't warranted.

But your rights of smoking violate my rights. Why should someone else suffer for YOUR pleasure?

What about the bar owner's "house?" HE DOESN'T HAVE RIGHTS?

You have a point, but I believe that 46 million Americans is a fucking huge number to be the minority.

This is such a stupid argument. If you really give a shit about the health of your lungs then you'd be living in Montana. You'd be living as far away from traffic, and industrialization of all types.

You also have those options to you. Land is cheap in Montana, taxes are low, and you can live a life with high air quality.

But for you, this isn't about having good air to breath. For you, this is about imposing your preferences on other people, and stealing the exclusive right to use of property owners so you can oblige them to accomodate your preferences for a smoke free environment.

Stop pretending it's anything other than you trying to create your own perfect little world to live in at a minority's expense.



They're still the minority. There are 330 million people in this country.

Free will?

I can not do things I want to, that are perfectly legal and allowed for me to do, because I do not wish to harm my body by breathing in second hand smoke.

I can not go to a bar and have a good time with friends because of second hand smoke.

I can not walk down a city block because of second hand smoke.

I can not go to work because of second hand smoke.

This all affects my free will and it violates my rights that you are smoking in public.

You are commiting a hazardous act by releasing 4000 chemicals into the air which i breathe.

Sidestream second hand smoke is even worse then smoking cause theres no filter.

If i wanted to smoke, then I would...
I dont need to do it cause you are doing it too.

So you basically would want people to move out of their homes, where they grew up, because you cant smoke in your own home?
Because you want to smoke on the streets, and in public, your telling other people to move away from you?
