I forgot to respond to this, you are insane for saying this, I have like 6 years of relevant experience and got a good job because I endured being in a society that hates me to survive and make my life happen, it wasn't easy and I've had my fair share of unavoidable incidents.

And you? Unemployed? Not doing anything but spouting lies every day on jsp? Pathetic

So what you're saying is, you worked hard, and were rewarded for your labors with a decent job where you earn good money? Sounds like meritocracy in practice, yes? Glad to hear you aren't a DEI hire.

Regarding the politics at work thing, people should never discuss politics at work. And if you're the one bringing it up, you're the source of the problem. Stop that. If you're not, a simple "No politics" is usually enough to stop most political discussions.

You're there to get paid. And your employer is paying you to work, not cause workplace conflict. Politics, sex, and religion are the three big no-nos in the workplace. At least 2 of those are the reason you come to PaRD. We want to hear what you have to say. We won't even judge you. Merely troll and insult from time to time. Always welcome here. ♥

I have multiple mental disorders (that was probably obvious) but I am not transgender. I don't really think there should be a stigma around it. A lot of transgender people actually did believe they had a mental disorder in the past iirc in the DSM-5 it was classified as gender dysphoria, as well as a few other body dysphorias.

I think if the stigma around the term mental disorder or mental illness were gone then it wouldn't be an issue. But because there is one and a lot of people use it as a way to discredit transgender people's identity they stray away from it now.

I have one diagnosed too, I was completely on board with the destigmatize mental disorders cause circa 10 years ago or so, however it got derailed nearly immediately by gay people refusing to admit they have a mental disorder (thus undermining the entire premise of being open and accepting about mental disorders) and how it quickly shifted to mental disorders being glorified.

Genetic abnormalities exist, which is what they are.

If someone is born with one arm, that doesn't mean that humans don't have two arms. It means that that individual was born with a genetic abnormality, a mistranslation of DNA. Human cells are machines that can sometimes malfunction.

I am in fact a scientist, chemist by training and accreditation, and could run circles around anyone on this forum on this topic. I can explain the fundamental reason why errors occur in biology if you'd like, it has to do with Gaussian energy distributions.

Yes, being a man is being hated in current society. That is why people keep trying to escape it.

This was basically my initial reaction years ago about transgenderism and how to explain it. I correlated it with men playing as women in video games, it's an escape from manhood which is essentially always being judged on the product of your efforts
