Good question. Indeed there is no sound money party, but Republicans at least understand that making more stuff lowers the price of things, regardless of reckless monetary policy that the entire power apparatus of the US will undoubtedly support. Every Democrat I know dies on the hill that demand side economics works. Just make more hungry mouths and it'll all work itself out. That's a child-like world view. Wealth, savings, and supply are how ordinary people get rich, and how empires sustain.

Honestly, all the polarization has made it hard to care. It more or less feels 3/4 years is spent getting prepared for the next election and 1/4 battling over the results of the election itself.

true tbh. I honestly wish my adult life was full of leaders where... the only difference is some economic direction perspective and some different life choices. Not this slander and hate that its been since Trump ran. One could blame Trump for running and causing the politics to be like this, but he clearly stirred up a hornets nest, imagine if he never ran and it progressively got worse on both the democrat and republican side. I feel like Trump gave people like Vance and Vivek a political future to be leaders.


That said, early voting is putting Kamala and Trump pretty close. Historically, voting day will be more red than blue. I'd like to say its a 60/40 for Trump winning right now.
