They are posting the same propaganda trying to justify the worst war Europe has seen in 80 years. The Russians have killed so many innocent Ukrainians, have destroyed so much infrastructure, have damaged the global economy so much, only a paid bot would try to defend such horrible suffering.

Think of the Ukrainian government what you want. Call the millions of protesters, many of which were killed by the Russia-aligned former president, paid actors for opposing his power grab and his breaking of his pledge to honor the agreements with the west. No matter how you spin it, even if you completely ignore the hypocrisy considering the decades of undue Russian meddling with Ukrainian politics, it still does not justify the full scale invasion of the country. Remember, Russia initially launched an attack on Kyiv - a region that not even the bots would claim wanted to be Russian. They did not just try to "liberate" regions in which they held sham referendums and sent undercover troops to.

As to the rest of the post, for a guy who claims others don't debate in good faith, he seems quite determined to ignore facts, or accuse facts of arising from "Russian State TV". Is the claim that only Russians know facts, and the west is shilling nothing but lies?

You have to separate the issues.

1) Did Russia have aims to puppet all of Ukraine in February 2022? --> Yes.
2) Does Ukraine have to accept that Crimea didn't want to be severed from Russia as a result of a West Ukrainian Maidan? --> Yes.

You don't have to like Russia to agree that Crimea is Russian. You don't have to like Russia to agree that the Donbass did not want to be a part of a EU-aligned Ukraine. The time for Ukraine to let go was a year ago when they held leverage. Now Ukrainian statehood itself is threatened.
