i think i'm catching what you're saying now. my apologies.
that is not for me to comment much on. idk the situation, even 1 situation could be enacted upon because of another situation.... it's often complicated...

i know that's all rather generic, but there's not much "i" can do. however, i am against the continuation of this war, the start of another war, and funded proxy wars elsewhere.

There will be a proxy in the East Circa 2030 plus minus 1 or 2 years. It can't be help, and I do hope I am wrong, but hopefully it will be a rather small controlled one.
Everyone is getting their pockets and business burn right now all around the world. It is not exactly helping growth. The mood in Hong Kong is rather grim for some of us.
Maybe I will just move back home to Singapore before 2030 and wait out a little before it gets too dicey around East Asia.

the war drum for usa and china has been beating pretty loud lately.
i miss the good ol' days when we talked about competing with china through trade policy, instead of a hot war over taiwan and their chips.

mmm, i mean to say. "i miss it bigly".

McCarthy is actually incredible. Never seen a man walk so far without a spine.

Pelosi had the same margin in the house in 2018 and beat the far left into submission when they challenged her leadership.

that witch should have been cast into a fire.

opposition party majorities in senate are always a mess to watch. you are fighting to pass laws with your votes you know get canned on the president's desk and wont survive the veto process. so you just end up infighting for no reason, because you're not really doing much anyways.

Even before trump. Boehner couldn't hold his caucus together, neither could Paul Ryan. It's just getting worse for them.

And yet pelosi held the caucus together from 2018-2020 no problems. You don't have to like her but you have to respect her skill as party leadership.

Edit: I should point out the last republican speaker who could really hold the republican house majority together was the convicted child molester. Really makes you think.
