Let's for a second take a step back and think about what an actual coup looks like. For coups to actually be successful and real, a critical proportion of the power structure has to be compromised. I mean the reasons are obvious right? You need those in power, judges, generals, police officers & commissioners, etc. I mean there's a million historical examples in which if we look at actual coups this is evident. Most recently, there was one in Turkey. Portion of the military turned, you had numerous soldiers, you had other power brokers, etc.

After all of these exhaustive and public investigations, this had none of that. So i'm asking you to critically think and try to explain to me how someone would actually seize power just as a function of a bunch of protestors occupying a government building?

No, it wasn't a serious attempt, there was no real tangential planning to indicate it was a real coup attempt compared to actual historical examples, like it's not even close.
