I never denied Trump won the election. His opponent didn't even campaign.

Why should she?

It was HER turn.

tbh i kept looking for the thing that would move the needle, and honestly i didn't see it.

stuff that's bad that we all knew was there, and nothing that makes Barr look like an outright liar, just that he presented an incredibly biased viewpoint. thus no needle movement.

I don't think it did either.

Barr very clearly gave Trump the benefit of the doubt when defending his obstructive acts.... and the answers on the Part 1 conduct were inadequate. The most bizarre statement was when he said the president constitutionally doesn't need to allow an investigation to go forward if it's unfounded. Of course, who determines whether it's unfounded? We're supposed to just take the president's word for it if he's being investigated and fires the investigators? What's Barr's view on the independence of DOJ?

The Democratic senators were no match for Barr though. Their questions were sloppy, the follow ups were basically nonexistent... I just don't understand how they are so incompetent at questioning.

The President determines whether or not it's founded.

Congress has the ability to impeach the president.

It's old and/or out of touch people trying to go viral for support and compilation circle jerking and trying to appeal to the hacks and extremes on their sides

No matter how they performed all the groups will go right to hacking with their blah blah owned annihilated destroyed blah blah videos on all sides

These things are always an embarrassment and disservice to the country because of the above shenanigans and theatrics

People want to talk about fake news and the enemy of the people the true fake news and enemy of the people are the compilation owned videos made by profiteering and/or extreme opportunists for the left the right and the libertarian sheep that base everything on these cut up manipulative confirmation bias feeding videos.

Impeach him for what?

If it's entirely proper for the president to end investigations which he believes are unfounded, where's the impeachable offense?

Barr's underlying position is that the President has the constitutional authority to dismiss the investigation.

He is still accountable to Congress if they feel he's perverting his constitutional authority to achieve personal ends.
