I know my party talks about the need for voter ID regularly, but I think many of them are just blowing hot air to drum up votes. As someone with many Democratic friends, I know they also support voter ID laws, but they want safeguards to ensure the ID is both free and easily attainable. I am certain that passing a strong voter ID law that includes regulations such as a guaranteed number of polling locations per population size, as well as guarantees that the ID can be attained simply and free of charge, would be a popular bipartisan move. Please advance legislation to both protect and enhance our democratic process.
