So what's the ideal outcome for Israel? Palestinians pushed out as refugees to Egypt / Europe / US? Israel annexes the territory? Sometimes it seems like that's what they are pushing for.

Hamas surrenders, Gaza cut into pieces each piece controlled by a different Hamula (big family) or in some miracle they will want to chose democracy and move towards DMZ Palestinian state

Ending military subsidies to the terrorists is the only moral position. It should be permanent, not a temporary tactic to stop bleeding in the polls.

Some are more worried about insignias in ukraine than tens of thousands of innocent people actually getting murdered.

Israel right wing extremists helped Hamas for years with a clear objective: to de-legitimize palestinians and to prevent them to create any kind of state.

- Promoting terrorists then pretending fighting them.
- Stealing land while discussing about sharing it.
- Destroying cities while arguing about rebuild them.

=> Liars, thieves, and assassins.

Not much people believe the shit they are saying anymore. Isreal is lead by extremists and it appears today it was a mstake to re-create it in 1948, may 14 btw.

If they let us be from the beginning we would have been behind ut already.
I also think that if they have disagreement they should use private channels between them going to the media was poor and stupid.
Allies can disagree, they cant interfere with their ally war effort by telling the enemy on world stage we are not helping them anymore.

Yeah I agree with much of that. But my understanding is the US has said they still fully support Israel BUT that they don't believe the Rafah operation is the best strategy at this point. I heard secretary Austin explain they are pausing a shipment
of large air drop munitions and I heard him say that the US still support Israel but they want to see less risk to civilian life.
So that is not exactly a betrayal by the US.

Much of this is a reaction to the civilian deaths. I have also argued that avoiding civilian deaths is impossible; But its as if no objective can be completed solely through military means.
At least so far.

What makes you so sure that more war and killing with yield a different outcome? Genuine question, because I'm no longer convinced.

Its interference when an ally goes to the media and say we have issues with their attacks we ate not going to provide more weapons to you specially when negotiations is going on.

Israel doesnt want more settlements in Gaza thats Hamas propaganda

He is playing election game

Criticism is interference. Reality of settlement expansions is fictional. Body count of civilians are actually combatants. Got it

I am not sure of anything but if we are fighting it should be with full force not half assed operation.

either way we need to put enough pressure on hamas so they will agree to our terms.

they had 4 chances to create a state they chose death.
the fact that some far right extremist got into the last governement doesn't mean for 70 years Israel tried to prevent them from building a state and its defiantly doesn't give them the excuse to enter rape and kill civilians.
and they are paying dearly for it right now.

What was not on the table that they agreed? I was not aware.
