Yeah I agree with much of that. But my understanding is the US has said they still fully support Israel BUT that they don't believe the Rafah operation is the best strategy at this point. I heard secretary Austin explain they are pausing a shipment
of large air drop munitions and I heard him say that the US still support Israel but they want to see less risk to civilian life.
So that is not exactly a betrayal by the US.
Much of this is a reaction to the civilian deaths. I have also argued that avoiding civilian deaths is impossible; But its as if no objective can be completed solely through military means.
At least so far.
What makes you so sure that more war and killing with yield a different outcome? Genuine question, because I'm no longer convinced.
